Software engineering internships are becoming increasingly competitive for top FAANGMULA companies (Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, Google, Microsoft, Uber, Lyft, Airbnb, etc). While it may seem like a hopeless and daunting task for some people, it’s not too challenging if you prepare a plan and execute it appropriately.

To get a software engineering internship you must prepare by creating a strong resume, developing technical interview skills, finding and applying to as many relevant companies as possible, and leveraging and building your current network for referrals.
